Devlog 4: Animation
Now is when we started to run into trouble in this project.
I took on this project as someone who works mostly in Design or Production Management, I really wanted to get a feel for the pipeline that a project would have to go through to more easily understand the work my future teams would be doing.
With this background, I still had experience with code and unity however this experience was lacking for more advanced parts of the program.
Animations were one of these parts. At this point in the project, I knew I needed to start learning new skills so I set into my research on animation linking and blending.
I started simply by getting walking working for my player. This process involved a lot less code than I expected and went quite smoothly I then learnt how to blend my walk animation with animations for walking to the side or backward.
Finally, I took this and applied it to my enemy so he 2 would animate while chasing my player.
